NPS National Mall

This is the first official mobile app produced by the National Park Service. The app, which was developed for both iPhone and Android platforms, provides wayfinding services and interpretive content for over 70 monuments and historic sites on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Visitors can use a variety of ways to discover more information, from mobile-specific maps and customizable tours, to the ParkLens—a customized augmented reality feature where location-based information is overlaid on a live view from the device’s camera.
