Using Native American documents as it's primary sources, this book explores the landscapes and chronologies of the Americas as seen and interpreted from the inside. Mapping the continent by this literary means, it pays particular attention to the traditions of the Navajo, Huichol, Nahuatl, Maya and Quechua. This study brings together a wide range of sources and traditions, and in doing so, seeks to validate the corpus of non-linear literature that existed millenniums before European contact.
